Fabulous Friday

As each weekend approaches, I will share with you my pick for FABULOUS FRIDAY! I will highlight something truly inspirational every Friday, weather it be a fierce paparazzi photo of my favorite "it girl" of the week or a photo shoot to die for. Today I had to share with you this incredible fashion shoot with "Modern Icon," Mary Kate Olsen. Everything about this is beyond amazing. Let her be your weekend fashion inspiration! "I'm always inspired by something different. Something new. Something absurd." Mary Kate also shared in the Elle article, "I get inspired by old films, weird things. It could be a person sitting across from me or it could be a full Victorian costume." Note the coffee in her hand...beyond cute! She is totally my fashion obsession. It's finally my favorite time of year, the week that will inform the industry on what's "in" and what's "out" for the season. As fashion week kicks off at Lincoln Center we can only sit and wait for all of the uh-mazing pictures to surface of the new 2011 fashions. Remember that no matter how crazy and outlandish some of the designs seem...they are simply the inspiration for which your future fashion will come. Once the styles hit stores near you they will be toned down and have more main stream appeal. Stay tuned for my favorite looks from this years FASHION WEEK! Winter Recap

As we rapidly approach spring, I think it's time to send some love to my favorite winter outfits. Fall is without a doubt my favorite season. Our closets are overflowing while the outfits get more layered and more fabulous. And the possibilities and combinations are endless. Winter fashion is all about the ultra-layered look which I am totally in love with! It was Coco Chanel herself who taught the world to always "take one thing off" before leaving the house, but when the temperatures drop I think we can throw those words of wisdom out the window and grab that extra scarf from our closet. First Post : Favorite Style Icons

For my first post, I thought it was only appropriate that I share with you my personal style icons. We all have them. They're the one's rocking the outfits that we could only dream of. Who doesn't love Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe and Mary Kate Olsen. They are the epitome of style and fashion. Their over the top styles and endless risks are what make them my favorite fashion leaders. I too share their extreme love for vintage pieces mixed with the hottest new runway looks. Not to mention that they paved the way for my absolute favorite trend... The oversized accessories that make you want to D.I.E. as Rachel Zoe would say! When you grab that epic cocktail ring from your jewelry box or large designer bag to add that final touch...you should be thanking these ladies! Here are my fashion icons.
