FASH FAVE - Kim Kardashian

After spreading Kardashian kisses all over Dubai, Kim Kardashian and her brilliant micro-managing mom returned from their mini vaca in the Metropolitan city to a slew of bad press. With nasty divorce rumors spreading rapidly, Kim arrived at the Huffington Post Game Changer Awards with her head held high and her waist cinched in a stunning super fitted Roland Mouret mermaid gown. This insanely incredible dress was the perfect distraction. I hardly even noticed Kris was missing. Oh the power of a showstopping gown. I can only imagine how many pairs of spanks are on under this masterpiece. It's basically painted on the E! Princess's perfectly curvy figure. The bold gold accessories, nude lip stick and beyond gorgeous fishtail braid beautifully accentuate the power of this minimalist ensemble. I swear the Kardashian Klan's collection of statement earrings could make Elizabeth Taylor's treasure trove shiver in comparison. I'd die to sneak a peak. Kim's old Hollywood simplistic ensemble was a Fash Fave must... Then again, when does she ever not look amazing. I'm beyond obsessed. 

FASH FAIL - Christina Aguilera

Former Pop diva and current fashion world joke, Chrsitina Aguilera showed up to Fred Segal yesterday looking like a bonafide natural disaster... to put it politely. I only assumed when she wandered into Fred Segal it was to snatch up an emergency pair of pants after a nasty spill, but when she emerged with no attempt to cover up, I was officially baffled. Fred Segal is a high end clothing boutique that I'm pretty sure requires trousers. Then again, to be fair, I think the saying is "no shirt, no shoes, no service"... So I guess X-tina's in compliance? I do appreciate her appropriately placed skull scarf and conservative leather jacket, but the last time I checked the only person with a pants pass was Lady Gaga. Then again, according to the superb journalism that lines our grocery store aisles, Christina's apparently going through a breakdown and I do vaguely remember Britney going through a similar pant-less stage so maybe there's a reason for it all. Who knows, this could just be part of some 12 step program. Let's just hope this is the final step. Get it together Christina. Find yourself some bottoms and get your insanely talented voice back to the studio. And while you're there, please make another Christmas album. I religiously listen to the one that came out twelve years ago and I'd really love a new holiday jam. Thanks! :)

Fash Fave - Demi Lovato

 There are only a few things I love more than a fashion come back and after my recent plea to Disney starlet Demi Lovato to fix her fashion flops I am proud to say, the talented singer is back with a fash vengeance. Earlier this week while partying at the Roosevelt Hotel with friends, the Camp Rock star looked dazzling in a fabulous pink mini dress. But it wasn't until later in the night when she brilliantly threw on the addition of a floral cardigan to stop by Crave Café for a bite to eat that I began to take notice. This unexpected combo, which she accessorized with black Mary Jane pumps and layered with bohemian jewelry has all the makings of a Fash Fave. And obviously, I adore the addition of the hat which is a Demi staple. It's effortless, flirty, and conveys exactly the right amount of personal chicness. Did I mention how fabulous her hair and lip color are? Dying! If you haven't picked up Demi's latest album, I highly recommend it. Loving every song. Below are more pictures of Demi’s evening out. FASH FAVE - Rachel Bilson

How can you not love Rachel Bilson? The Hart Of Dixie leading lady is beyond adorable, super talented, and a major powerhouse in the style world. The CW starlet and former OC darling rocked some major fash this week while strutting through NYC for an appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly. I'm obsessed with this Suno white lace dress which Rachel paired with a to-die-for Vanessa Bruno blazer and some killer conservative sunnies. But by far my favorite part of this ensemble is her major ShoeMint Mary Jane pumps, which literally took my breath away at first glance. The ShoeMint website doesn't launch until November, so until then, I'll anxiously be waiting to swipe up these serious must-haves. Rachel and her stylist Nicole Chavez will be the celebrity designers for the site so you know it's going to be beyond fabulous. The shoes will retail for 79.99, so start saving now fash lovers because at that price you're going to want to buy every pair.

FASH FAIL - Katie Holmes

This week Katie Holmes stepped away from her adorable conservative mommy gear and ventured into denim territory, which is never, I repeat, NEVER a good idea, especially when it comes in the form of overalls. I mean just look at the poor girl's face. She's miserable. I can't decide if Tom forced her to wear this to keep guys away or if Katie wore this to keep Tom away. Either way, nothing about this is ok. As you know, I'm not a fan of overalls. You may remember my other fash fail which featured another style maven hitting all the wrong marks in denim overalls, here. How two fashion aware indivdauals made the same horrible mistake is beyond me. Is Katie the new official farmer for elite Scientologist? I'm confused. On the bright side, I am crushing on her super cute Isabel Marant booties, but other than that this is just a denim overload of epic proportion and with the oversized jacket it is just too much. What do you guys think? Fash Fail or Farmer chic?

Fash Fave - Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley arrived at the Moet & Chandon Etoile Award Ceremony in London this week looking like an old Hollywood movie star. The Transformers leading lady wore a stunning white pleated Burberry gown, which she paired elegantly with black Christian Louboutin pumps and a gorgeous vintage clutch. My favorite element is the black fur that Rosie threw on to accessorize the classically glamours ensemble. I adore the subtle touches of the soft curl and red lip stick, which appropriately complement her vintage inspired look. Everything about this is total and utter perfection, which is why the Victoria's Secret model was an obvious fash fave for me this week. Fash Fave - Olivia Wilde

The talented and beautiful Olivia Wilde arrived at the premiere of "Butter" in Toronto, Canada this week rocking a seriously fabulous white Marchesa gown that sparkled with its stunning gold accents. Olivia accessorized her Grecian get-up with YSL shoes, Anita Ko stud earrings, and a gorgeous gold clutch. The intricately beaded gown was an obvious show stopper at the celebrity filled premiere. The 27 year old actress looked radiant with natural makeup and her pulled back her hairstyle adds confidence and an extra dash of class to this already elegant ensemble. I love everything about this look and choosing Olivia as my fash fave of the week couldn't have been easier. Below are more pictures of her dazzling white gown. Fash Fave - Sarah Jessica Parker

 

Hello Carrie Bradshaw! The "Sex and the City" alum has been everywhere these days promoting her latest flick and I've seriously been swooning over every gush worthy outfit. While visiting the David Letterman show, Sarah turned heads in a beyond fabulous monochromatic red and pink ensemble. The Prabal Gurung designed red blouse and bright pink flared pants are bold, simple and pure perfection. You may recognize the ensemble from the Fall 2011 runaway show where it appeared untucked and belted. I love the changes Sarah made and the subtle detail of the sheer sleeves. The whole look is exquisitely chic and the white Manolo Blahnik pumps were an inspired addition. It's outfits like this that remind us why we all fell in love with SJP in the first place. The stylish actress isn't afraid to take risk and like her iconic Sex and the City character, she's the queen of bold and unexpected items that would be hard for the majority of us to pull off, which is why I simply had to choose Sarah's super chic Prabal Gurung look as my fash fave of the week. Fash Fave - Kristin Cavallari

This week my fash fave is the newly single reality star, Kristin Cavallari. Monday night during ABC's "Bachelor Pad," the network made a big announcement revealing the cast for the new season of "Dancing with the Stars." The impressive line up which includes Kristin Cavallari, Rickie Lake, Rob Kardashian, and Nancy Grace is sure to be highly entertaining. During the reveal, "The Hills" alum stepped out in this seriously adorable blush Maria Lucia Hohan dress with some major red Christian Louboutin sling back heels. I'm absolutely dying over this look. And the pulled back hair, a Cavallari staple, is elegant and effortless. Can't wait to see what amazing pieces she rocks on the dance floor this season. Kristin recently shared, "I have no idea if I'll be good or not. I have a lot of anxiety about just getting in there and seeing how well I'll be able to pick up the dances." I'm excited to see if Kristin can out dance Audrina Patridge's third place ranking from season 11. Either way I know Kristin is going to look fashionable until the very end! Fash Fave - Olivia Palermo

Tuesday evening socialite Olivia Palermo arrived at the New York premiere of "Our Idiot Brother," looking perfectly polished as always. The former reality star rocked a blouse and pant combo from Tibi's Fall 2011 collection, which is totally appropriate considering she is the face of the fashionable brand. The brunette style maven accessorized her look with a gorgeous pale pink clutch and a major Lulu Frost statement necklace. Of course my favorite part of the ensemble is her uh-mazing black crystal embellished suede Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, which added the perfect amount of edge to this gorgeous graphic look. And how presh is Olivia's hair style? It almost makes me forget about her villainous days on MTV's hit show, The City.
