Giuseppe Zanotti Does It Again

My obsession with Giuseppe Zanotti's fabulous shoe designs is above any other, so you can imagine my excitement when I was sent this sneak peak of his newest Spring/Summer 2012 heel. This minty double platform pump literally took my breath away. The superbly talented Italian shoe designer has immaculately crafted another dream worthy shoe and it just may be my favorite yet. I can't wait for the opening of the new Las Vegas Giuseppe Zanotti Design Boutique at the Forum Shops at Ceasars on Friday. I'm so excited to be invited to the exclusive opening. Getting to be one of the first to experience the 1,800 square foot store filled with to-die-for pumps is a dream. The new Vegas store is now the largest mono-brand boutique for GZ so you know it's going to be extra fabulous. Fashion Week Nail Polish Trends

Like an incredible show-stopping pair of heels, nail polish can be the perfect bold accessory for any outfit. Ever since I got engaged to my handsome fiance, my nail polish collection has skyrocketed to a TLC "Hoarders" level. It's seriously out of control, but fabulous at the same time. In search of inspiration for my next mani/pedi I tapped into fashion week to see which colors my favorite style mavens were rocking. Black and neutrals were definitely the front runners, along with Olivia Palermo's go-to shade, the always popular red. In the picture above, which is doubling as a little sneak peek of tomorrow's outfit post, I mixed a little white with a deep purple to create the perfect plum polish. I've been mixing polishes for years in order to create my favorite unique shades. If you've yet to get all Bill Nye the Science Guy on your collection of polishes, I seriously urge you to try it. Not only is it fun but when someone compliments your nails you can take all of the credit. Like the day I shot the Macaron Madness post. Fashion Week Fix Up

Spring 2012 Fashion Week has officially begun and the stunning creations are more fabulous than ever. Just as we're sipping on our pumpkin spice lattes, packing up our airy Summer pieces and bashfully transitioning into Fall, we're teased with Springs bright and adventurous designs as they strut down the runway during fashion's favorite time of the year. My favorite trends shutting it down at NY's fashion week thus far are the mint colored textiles and double slit skirts. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't already feverishly planning several future outfit post. So far I'm most impressed with Christian Siriano's runway showcase. His fabulous statement pieces are utterly breathtaking and coming to grips with the fact that the deliciously orange gown pictured left may never hang in my closest is enough to cause a fash tear. For now, the stylist in me can't help but mentally dress the stars in my favorite runway looks. Fash Fave - Olivia Palermo

Tuesday evening socialite Olivia Palermo arrived at the New York premiere of "Our Idiot Brother," looking perfectly polished as always. The former reality star rocked a blouse and pant combo from Tibi's Fall 2011 collection, which is totally appropriate considering she is the face of the fashionable brand. The brunette style maven accessorized her look with a gorgeous pale pink clutch and a major Lulu Frost statement necklace. Of course my favorite part of the ensemble is her uh-mazing black crystal embellished suede Giuseppe Zanotti sandals, which added the perfect amount of edge to this gorgeous graphic look. And how presh is Olivia's hair style? It almost makes me forget about her villainous days on MTV's hit show, The City.
