Paris Fashion Week Fix Up

There is something about Paris fashion week that makes me seriously weak in the knees. The shows are impeccably produced and the perfectly crafted masterpieces are always a dramatic surprise. Elie Saab and Valentino totally delivered this year. I'm obsessed with the vibrant colors, flowing fabrics and sequin moments seen throughout both of their insanely uh-mazing collections. Like I did with New York Fashion Week, the stylist in me has matched up the hottest looks fresh off the runway to their celebrity counterparts. When I saw the vibrant orange Alexander McQueen mini dress pictured above I knew that it desperately needed a Gaga moment. She'd kill it in this look. Although, I personally would pair the show stopper with a different color heel, maybe a hunter green or cobalt blue pump like I did in my Creative Combo's post here. Which Paris Fashion Week designs are you crushing on?

Elie Saab for Reese Witherspoon

Chanel for Blake Lively

Hakaan for Cameron Diaz

Louis Vuitton for Anna Wintour

Paco Rabanne for Kim Kardashian

Elie Saab for Anne Hathaway

Valentino for Rachel Zoe

Chanel for Victoria Beckham

Something Extra: Earlier this week I had the honor of having the outfit post below featured on Lauren Conrad's website. Be sure to check it out here. So exciting. Thanks Lauren. xo

Having An Orange Moment

Ever since orange was dubbed the new red during the Spring 2011 runway shows, the bright shade has been a burning obsession for all of Hollywood's most stylish celebrities. The explosive and bold color not only demands attention, but also compliments a variety of skin tones while accentuating your natural glow. Whether it's against Kate Bosworth and Britney Snow's perfectly pale pigments or the bronze tones of Zoe Saldana, orange is bound to give you a sunset glow that no other color can compete with. If your skin complexion falls into the olive or darker category opt for deeper shades of orange and save the lighter and brighter shades for those with a paler complexion. Above I'm wearing a vibrant orange dress from H&M which I cinched in with a skinny Forever 21 belt and paired with my favorite pair of black Mary Jane pumps. Girls, it's time to be daring this fall. Incorporate a citrus burst into your wardrobe, whether it be a dress or a cropped trouser. For a more subtle approach try making your neural ensembles pop by accessorizing them with an orange envelope clutch or ankle boot. I also strongly suggest trying OPI's "on the same paige" nail polish or Estee Lauder's "orange crush" lip gloss. Both are utterly uh-mazing. Below are pictures of celebrities rocking the bright and bold trend. Which look is your favorite?

Fashion Week Fix Up

Spring 2012 Fashion Week has officially begun and the stunning creations are more fabulous than ever. Just as we're sipping on our pumpkin spice lattes, packing up our airy Summer pieces and bashfully transitioning into Fall, we're teased with Springs bright and adventurous designs as they strut down the runway during fashion's favorite time of the year. My favorite trends shutting it down at NY's fashion week thus far are the mint colored textiles and double slit skirts. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't already feverishly planning several future outfit post. So far I'm most impressed with Christian Siriano's runway showcase. His fabulous statement pieces are utterly breathtaking and coming to grips with the fact that the deliciously orange gown pictured left may never hang in my closest is enough to cause a fash tear. For now, the stylist in me can't help but mentally dress the stars in my favorite runway looks. Below I've pulled some of Spring 2012's show stopping looks and paired them with the celebrities I think would rock them the best. Which runway show has been your favorite thus far?

Rachel Roy for Rachel Bilson

Derek Lam for Zoe Saldana

Charlotte Ronson for Vanessa Hudgens

Rebecca Minkoff for Blake Lively

Victoria Beckham for Kate Bosworth

Diane Von Furstenberg for Eva Mendes

Nicole Miller for Ashley Tisdale

Christian Siriano for Olivia Wilde

Monique Lhuillier for Victoria Beckham

Luca Luca for Olivia Palermo
