I recently came across a website called Novica.com which is associated with National Geographics to give artist and artisans around the world a global platform to express their true artistic talents. I was instantly touched and completely smitten. With a closet filled with store bought goodies, it's so refreshing to discover unique hand crafted items from all around the world. My first purchase was this gorgeous royal java blue scarf straight from Bali. When it arrived it came with an artisan story card that told me all about the person who crafted the piece. It was so personal and beautiful, I had to have more. Cue these three incredible hand carved wooden bracelets. These unique colorful pieces are the perfect addition to my jewelry box and are a refreshing break from my usual bangles. The rest of my outfit which includes a Jennifer Lopez trench coat from Kohl's and my favorite bright blue Steven Madden pumps all compliment the pieces perfectly. For those who become instantly addicted to Novica as I did, you'll be happy to know they've recently launched Novica Live which allows you to host a party at your home with friends and family, while partaking in tons of international shopping.
