Arriving at number 21 on the list of top 25 celebrity stylist is the ultra talented Annabel Tollman. Annabel grew up living between two of the most fashionable cities in the world, London and New York. As a child, she expressed her love for fashion by sketching clothing. As her passion for fashion was expanding, she attended Central St. Martin’s college, where she received a bachelor’s degree in fashion journalism. Once graduation rolled around, Tollman began working at various magazines, later landing the highly impressive title of Fashion Director at Interview Magazine in 2004. Through her work she was able to express her artistic abilities with design and styling.
Since her days at Interview, this super stylist's fashion spot light has only grown. Major brands such as Chloe, Theory, and Alberta Ferretti have brought her on as a style consultant and she's styled ad campaigns for world renowned brands such as L’Oreal, Baby Phat and Nautica. She has even offered up style tips in major magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Elle and Lucky. Annabell's uber impressive list of clients include, Jessica Simpson, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Cynthia Nixon, and former "Ugly Betty" star, America Ferrara.
While freelancing as a stylist on a cover shoot back in 2003, the style guru met a fresh faced Scarlett Johansson. Scarlett needed a look for her Lost in Translation movie premiere and Annabel was eager to assist. Annabel can be credited for the white Dolce and Gabbana pantsuit that Scarlett rocked on the red carpet. “We were a bit tomboyish in those days,” Annabel revealed.

Annabel is inspired by the old Hollywood greats such as Elizabeth Taylor and Brigiette Bardot. Her most recent fashion venture is stylist and spokeswomen for eBay’s fashion site. People turn away from older clothing because they’re intimidated and not sure how to wear them. Annabel said, “Rather than your grandmother, you should be thinking Grace Kelly.” The blonde bombshell has helped to rebrand eBay into a serious fashion site, and is even starring in how-to style videos. Check them out, they're to die. Oh, and you have to check out their digital look book that allows the site shoppers to look at the latest fashions and then purchase similar looks through eBay’s unparalleled selection. They even feature Whitney Port's latest collection. I'm beyond obsessed. When asked about the site, Annabel shared “It’s like a big swap meet. Somebody out there has something that I want, and I get rid of something that I want to and get that. It’s a constant flow.”
When asked what her closet must have was, Annabel confessed that every woman should own a black shift dress, cliché or not. Annabel's also dying over her Chloe scalloped hem shorts, which you may have seen worn by Kate Bosworth and Heidi Montage. Wondering what her favorite accessory is? Belts! “I'm particularly enamored with my black Alaïa belt because it adds some badass punch to an otherwise soft and pretty look.” I couldn't agree more.
When it comes to styling, Annabel is one of the greats. She's super talented, classically beautiful, and I'm fainting over all of her looks. Fash lovers across the globe should be inspired by her truly amazing story. Every year she seems to find a new way to make a mark in the fashion world and I can't wait to see what else this style maven has in store! Her work is to die, her journey is book worthy, and her eye of style is unmatched. Below are some of her credits and looks she has styled in the past!
