Fash Fail - Claire Danes

Unfortunately the always classy Claire Danes makes my Fash Fail list this week. Claire wore a houndstooth Yigal Azrouel dress to the MCC Miscast Gala on Monday in New York City and I was extremely under whelmed.

I’m not a big fan of houndstooth and I feel that it should only be dished out in small doses. I do like that she added black tights to the outfit which helps tone down the dress a bit. Perhaps adding a belt may have broken up the look and made it slightly more stylish.

I do appreciate the zipper detail at the waist but it’s so minute that it almost appears to just be a random addition. What do you think Claire could have done differently to avoid the Fash Fail?
